Section 1: How to adapt the project page

The project page is defined by the index.html file and the resources placed in the static/ folder. Please refer to the https://github.com/eliahuhorwitz/Academic-project-page-template repository for further information.

You can clone the https://github.com/MLIA/project-page-template repository to have an editable template. The index.html file can be opened by any web browser to visualize the project page. Here are some tips:

  • Feel free to remove and add elements to the page.
  • You should alternate the 'hero' parameter between consecutive sections. It produces a light gray section instead of white.
  • This html file uses css and javascript code to produce various visual elements. If you are comfortable with it, feel free to modify these pieces of code.

Section 2: Publication

Once your project page is ready, you have two options to make it available in the MLIA repository:

  1. You can give the files to a MLIA github manager that will take care of it
  2. You share the link of your github repository containing you project page files to a MLIA github manager. It will then be forked and made into a project page

Note to the MLIA github managers: a git github repo has to be created/forked with the content. Then an option in the project parameters has to be set up. In the `pages` section, in the `build and deployment` section, the branch has to be chosen: https://docs.github.com/en/pages/getting-started-with-github-pages/configuring-a-publishing-source-for-your-github-pages-site
